Aqua Terra Collection Grows With Omega’s Latest Moonshine Gold Additions
Omega, which recently expanded the Aqua Terra collection with three new watches of different sizes that came for the first time with black lacquered dials, has just introduced five more new models where its yellow gold alloy – Moonshine Gold is the main dish.
Cutting to the chase, among the new additions are three in the 41mm size and two in 38mm, three in solid gold and two in a two-tone steel case with yellow gold bezel, crown and mid-links bracelet.
Aqua Terra 150M 41mm
Starting with the larger size versions, they embrace a 41mm wide by 13.40mm high case that features a mainly polished finish, smooth bezel, sapphire glass front and back, screwed crown and case back and 150m of water resistance. Two are in solid yellow gold and the other in a two-tone case.
The solid gold versions come with a PVD green striped dial, a combination that already exists on the 41 and 38mm steel versions of the line, and the two-tone version comes with a lacquered black dial, all of which share the same layout with solid yellow gold applied hour markers, hands and the brand’s logo at noon, with the two-tone version also adds a matching frame date window.
Inside we find the automatic movement Caliber 8900 and 8901 (for the solid gold versions) which are Master Chronometers with Co-Axial escapement, operating at a frequency of 3.5 Hz and offering up to 60 hours of power reserve.
The solid gold version is offered in two variants, one with a matching strap in the same material with a price tag of €42,500 and another with a textured green rubber strap for €24,200. The two-tone version comes attached to a steel bracelet and yellow gold centre links and is priced at €14,800.
