Amida Digitrend Expands Its Lineup With Steel, Black DLC, And Gold PVD Models
The Amida Digitrend makes a triumphant return to the spotlight after its highly successful reissue earlier this year, which sold out almost instantly. This unique timepiece now joins the brand’s permanent collection, introducing three striking variants that cater to diverse tastes. Alongside the classic steel version, the collection now includes a black DLC-coated model and a luxurious 4N gold PVD variant, each boasting a primarily brushed finish for a refined aesthetic.
All three models share identical dimensions, featuring a case that measures 39.80mm wide, 15.60mm thick, and 39mm long. One of the standout features of these watches is their distinctive side sapphire glass, which allows for the unconventional reading of time from the side. This innovative design is complemented by an upgraded rear sapphire glass caseback, offering a clear view of the movement inside. With a water resistance rating of 50 meters, the Amida Digitrend balances style with practicality.
Underneath the hood, the watch is powered by the reliable Soprod Newton P092 automatic movement. This mechanism, featuring 23 jewels, incorporates a jumping hour and minute module with two horizontal wheels. The sapphire light-reflecting display (LRD) technology ensures the time is easily legible from the unique side-view design. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, the movement provides a robust 44-hour power reserve.

Wearers can choose between a leather Alcantara strap or a tapered steel bracelet, which features domed blades and quick-release spring bars. Pricing for these exceptional timepieces starts at CHF 2,900 for the steel version, CHF 3,250 for the black DLC model, and CHF 3,500 for the gold PVD variant, all on leather straps.
