Alpina Revives Classic Style With Heritage Automatic
One of Alpina’s big surprises in this edition of Geneve Watches Days is the new pair of watches from the Heritage Collection.
We are talking about two retro-inspired dress watches that go against the trend of sports watches adopted by the brand in recent years.
The watches are stunning and elegant, which will certainly not go unnoticed among a more conservative audience.
Both watches are presented in a round stainless steel case with moderate dimensions of 38mm wide and 10.15mm high that comes with a polished finish as expected, straight lugs, box-shaped sapphire crystal, smooth bezel, fluted crown, solid case back and 30m water resistance or if you prefer splash-proof.
They are powered by the AL-520 automatic movement based on the Sellita SW200-1 that reaches 28,800 Vph and offers up to 38 hours of power reserve.
The watches feature dials in two distinct styles, the first with a full beige dial with printed wide black Arabic numerals, a railway minute track along the edges and sword hands with a blue PVD in the centre. The other one comes with a two-tone dial with a beige centre and the same blue faceted hands, a sunray silver outer ring with printed Arabic numerals at the 3-6-9-12 o’clock and batons markers on the remaining positions painted in cooper tones and lastly a thin railway minute track.
The watches are paired with a textured black calfskin leather strap with stitching and a steel pin buckle priced at €1,695.
