Alpina Launches Alpine Extreme Skeleton Watch In Two Bold Versions
Alpina’s “adventure” watch called the Alpine Extreme now comes in a Skeleton version with an openworked dial and two references.
The new Alpiner is presented in the traditional cushion-shaped stainless steel case with a satin brushed finish and polished bevels, where we can find a smooth bezel held by six screws, sapphire glass on both sides, screw-down crown with the brand’s signature and guards at 3 o’clock and 200m water resistance.
On the openworked dial, hour and minutes hands are filled with Super-LumiNova that also fill the indexes that stand on the colourful chapter ring that combines the knurled rubber ring that surrounds the crown and eventually the rubber strap, and lastly, a centre seconds hand with a counterweight in the shape of a red triangle, a symbol of the brand.
One of the references comes in grey tones and on a steel bracelet while the other in blue comes attached to a matching rubber strap.
Inside it runs the 26-jewel automatic movement Caliber AL-520 based on Sellita SW200-1 operates 28,800 Vph and offers up to 38 hours of power reserve when the barrel is at its maximum load displayed on the dial between 4 and 6 o’clock.
The watches arrive in October with prices of €2,395 for the blue variant with a rubber strap and €2,695 for the grey version with a steel bracelet.
