Alpina Expands The Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic With Two New Editions
Alpina has introduced two new editions of the Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic during Geneva Watch Days 2025, further enhancing the versatility of its professional-grade diving collection. Combining the rugged spirit of the Seastrong line with the bold design language of the Extreme series, these new models bring both vintage and tactical aesthetics to a proven tool watch platform.
Case and Construction
The watch is housed in a 39 mm stainless steel cushion-shaped case, measuring 40.50 mm across and 12.65 mm thick. Its proportions offer a balance of presence and comfort on the wrist, while its architecture emphasizes durability. The surfaces are primarily brushed, complemented by polished bevels that highlight the case geometry.

A matte black ceramic unidirectional bezel frames the dial, featuring wide notches for secure grip even with gloves. To ensure its 300-metre water resistance, the watch is equipped with a screw-down crown, crown guards, and a protective bumper on the left side of the case. The solid steel caseback is engraved, underscoring the tool-watch character.
Dial Variations
Both models carry Alpina’s signature oversized triangular index at 12 o’clock and a date display at 6 o’clock, complete with a luminous segment for readability in low light. The applied markers and hands are treated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring visibility underwater.

The first of the two editions features a sandblasted black dial, where the indices, hands, and even the counterweight of the seconds hand are coated with “old radium” Super-LumiNova, giving the watch a distinct retro charm. The second model presents a grain-textured khaki dial with the same luminous treatment that feels equally suited to rugged outdoor use as it does to diving.
Movement
At the core is the automatic AL-525 calibre, based on the Sellita SW200. It beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a 38-hour power reserve, delivering reliable performance for daily wear and diving activities alike.

Strap and Price
Each watch is paired with a black textured rubber strap, secured by a folding clasp for comfort and durability. The two new Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic models are priced at € 1,995.

Conclusion
With these latest releases, Alpina continues to expand the Seastrong Diver Extreme line, offering enthusiasts a choice between vintage charm and tactical ruggedness, without compromising on the technical requirements of a professional dive watch.
