Alpina Expands Its Heritage Line With A European Exclusive

Alpina continues to celebrate its heritage with the introduction of the Alpiner Heritage Carrée Automatic Edition Europe, a timepiece that captures the elegance of the Art Deco era while offering the reliability of a modern automatic movement. Following the success of the 2023 Heritage Carrée Mechanical limited editions, this new model brings back the same vintage-inspired charm in a refined, contemporary form.

Art Deco Design in a Compact Form

The Heritage Carrée Automatic Edition Europe stays true to Alpina’s 1930s design codes, featuring a rectangular case crafted from polished stainless steel. Its dimensions—32.50 mm wide and 39 mm long—strike a balance between vintage proportions and modern comfort, with a slim profile under 10 mm that ensures an elegant wrist presence. Both the front and back are protected by sapphire crystal, offering durability and a clear view of the watch’s design and movement.

A Dial with Historical Character

This exclusive European edition stands out for its Art Deco-inspired dial, emphasizing Alpina’s historical aesthetics. The black matte dial is complemented by pencil-style hour markers and a rectangular small seconds subdial positioned at 6 o’clock, both echoing design elements typical of the 1930s. The leaf-shaped hands, railroad-style minute track, and all dial markings are finished in beige tones, adding a warm, retro touch to the overall look.

Modern Mechanics Inside

Powering the watch is the Alpina calibre AL-530, an automatic movement based on the Sellita SW261. Operating at 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), it provides a 38-hour power reserve. Through the sapphire caseback, the movement is visible, showcasing a gold-toned rotor that adds a refined finishing detail.

Limited European Edition

The watch is presented on a black ostrich leather strap with a stainless steel pin buckle, reinforcing its elegant, vintage aesthetic. Limited to 100 pieces, the Alpina Alpiner Heritage Carrée Automatic Edition Europe is available for € 1,850 exclusively in European markets.

Compared to the models in the permanent collection, this European edition comes at a prize of approximately €400, reflecting its exclusive design details and limited availability.
