Alpina introduces its first-ever titanium timepiece: the Alpiner Extreme Automatic Titanium in a 39mm case. Crafted from Grade 2 titanium, this model brings a significant reduction in weight while enhancing the watch’s resistance to corrosion and physical impact—qualities well-aligned with the brand’s long-standing emphasis on durability and utility.

Compact Dimensions, Maximum Impact

The new titanium variant is exclusively available in the 39mm x 40.5mm size, making it an appealing choice for those who favor modern, compact proportions without compromising presence on the wrist. The case retains the robust, angular geometry of the Alpiner Extreme line, including the distinctive cushion shape and three-part construction. The screw-down crown and caseback secure a water resistance rating of 200 meters, ensuring that the watch performs reliably in a range of conditions.

Dial Details and Finishing

At the heart of the dial is a finely textured silver surface, finished with a sunburst satin effect and punctuated by Alpina’s signature triangular motif. Applied hour markers are coated with luminous material for readability in low light, while the use of black-polished mother-of-pearl for these markers adds subtle contrast. A red-tipped seconds hand adds a hint of sportiness and reinforces the functional character of the watch.

Titanium Bracelet Debut

This release also marks the debut of a full grade 2 titanium bracelet in the Alpiner Extreme collection. Featuring brushed H-links with polished edges and a push-button folding clasp, the bracelet is designed for both secure wear and easy interchangeability. Standard spring bars allow for simple strap changes to a rubber alternative if preferred.

Movement and Caseback

Powering the watch is the Alpina AL-525 automatic movement, based on the reliable Sellita SW200-1 architecture. It offers a 38-hour power reserve and a 4Hz beat rate. True to the tool-watch philosophy, the solid engraved caseback avoids unnecessary bulk, contributing to the watch’s overall lightweight profile.
