A Watch You Can Pump: H. Moser & Cie. Gets Playful With Reebok
H. Moser & Cie. is no stranger to unconventional ideas, and the new Streamliner “Pump” might be one of its most inventive releases to date. Created in collaboration with Reebok, this limited edition blends mechanical watchmaking with a tactile concept inspired by the iconic Pump sneakers.
A Design That Invites Interaction
At first glance, the Streamliner “Pump” stands out with its clean yet modern aesthetic. The watch is available with either a black or white polished dial, both featuring applied indices and bold hands filled with Globolight inserts that emit a green glow in low-light conditions.

The most distinctive detail sits at 8 o’clock: an orange power reserve indicator paired with a functional pusher embedded into the case. This “pump” button is not decorative—it’s central to how the watch operates, directly linking the design to its sneaker-inspired concept.
A Case Built with Modern Materials
The 40 mm case, measuring 11.40 mm in thickness, is crafted from forged quartz fiber and offered in both black and white executions. This lightweight yet highly resistant material is combined with a titanium inner container—referred to by the brand as a “sarcophagus”—which enhances durability and structural integrity.

On the reverse, a titanium caseback ring frames a sapphire crystal, offering a view of the movement. Despite its unconventional concept, the watch remains practical, with a traditional crown at 3 o’clock used for time-setting and water resistance rated at 100 meters. The design is completed with an integrated strap that matches the case color, reinforcing the cohesive and contemporary aesthetic.
A “Manually Pumped” Movement
Inside, H. Moser & Cie. has reworked its in-house HMC 500 caliber into a highly original configuration. Rather than relying on a standard manual-winding system, the movement is powered through repeated presses of the pump pusher.

Each press delivers approximately one hour of power reserve, building up to a maximum of 74 hours. While the crown is still used to set the time, the winding experience becomes interactive and tactile, setting this piece apart from traditional mechanical watches.
Technically, the movement runs at 21,600 vibrations per hour and features 31 jewels. It is finished with anthracite-toned bridges decorated with Moser’s signature double stripes, while partial skeletonization provides a more dynamic view of the internal architecture.
Limited Production and Special Package
The Streamliner “Pump” is available in two versions—black and white—each limited to just 250 pieces. The watch is priced at CHF 31,360, positioning it firmly within the high-end segment of contemporary independent watchmaking.

Adding to the uniqueness of this collaboration, each watch is delivered alongside a pair of Reebok Pump sneakers. Both the watch and the shoes are co-signed by the two brands, reinforcing the collaborative nature of the release and making it a true collector’s package that bridges watchmaking and sneaker culture.
Final Thoughts
The Streamliner “Pump” demonstrates how creative concepts can be successfully integrated into serious watchmaking. Its interactive winding system, modern materials, and refined movement architecture make it a distinctive and technically compelling addition to the Streamliner collection—while the inclusion of matching sneakers adds an extra layer of appeal for collectors looking for something truly different.
