A Vintage Soul Reimagined: Introducing The Furlan Marri Red Hunter
Marking four years since the brand’s debut, Furlan Marri introduces the Red Hunter Anniversary, a mechanical timepiece that blends heritage design with modern engineering. This release builds on the brand’s evolving identity, combining influences from officer-style wristwatches and hunter-case pocket watches with contemporary execution.
The Red Hunter is crafted in a 36mm stainless steel case, standing 11.6mm tall including its hinged double caseback. The case design is classic in proportion and detail, with a stepped polished bezel and a large, fluted crown. Its 100-meter water resistance rating adds practical durability to the vintage form.
A key design element is the hunter-style back. The external portion is left smooth for potential engraving, while opening the lid reveals commemorative engravings marking the brand’s fourth anniversary. Beneath this is a sapphire exhibition caseback, secured by five screws, offering a view of the automatic movement inside.
The dial features a layered design under a sapphire crystal treated with multiple anti-reflective coatings and fingerprint resistance. The black lacquered surface has a recessed outer track, styled with a railroad-style minute scale and alternating Arabic numerals. The inner dial is slightly elevated and features applied dot hour markers and prominent Roman numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9. The polished steel hour and minute hands are gently domed, while a vibrant red central seconds hand provides a distinct contrast and a touch of color.
Inside, the Red Hunter houses the La Joux-Perret G100 automatic movement. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, it delivers a 68-hour power reserve. The movement is decorated with Geneva stripes and snailing, and features heat-blued screws and a rose gold-coated tungsten rotor with engraved detailing.
The watch is delivered with three strap options, all equipped with quick-release spring bars: a stainless steel Beads of Rice bracelet with a folding clasp, a black leather strap with red stitching, and a cream-colored leather strap with a classic pin buckle. All options are included in the package.
The Red Hunter is available via pre-order from April 23rd at 3 PM until May 4th at 10 PM (CET), 2025. Pricing is set at CHF 1,650 excluding taxes.
