A Statement In Rose Gold: Zenith’s Latest Defy Skyline Tourbillon
Zenith expands its modern Defy Skyline collection with a striking new iteration — the Defy Skyline Tourbillon in 18k rose gold. This release introduces a warmer and more luxurious take on the brand’s architectural sports watch, featuring a distinctive brick-red dial inspired by the red-and-white brick façade of Zenith’s historic manufacture in Le Locle.

A Distinctive 41 mm Rose Gold Case
The case of the Defy Skyline Tourbillon maintains the collection’s signature angular geometry. Measuring 41 mm in diameter, it features a 12-sided bezel and an integrated bracelet design that underscores the watch’s contemporary aesthetic. The combination of satin-brushed and polished surfaces enhances the play of light across the 18k rose gold case, emphasizing its dynamic structure.

Practicality remains part of the equation, with a screw-down crown ensuring 100 meters of water resistance — an uncommon level of durability for a tourbillon-equipped timepiece.
Brick-Red Dial with Star Engraving
Like the latest Defy Skyline Tourbillon references, it features a four-pointed star pattern that flows outward from the tourbillon aperture at six o’clock. The sunray brick-red dial reflects the brand’s heritage while providing a bold contrast against the rose gold faceted hands and applied hour markers, all treated with Super-LumiNova for visibility in low light.

The High-Frequency El Primero Calibre 3630
At the heart of the watch is the El Primero 3630 — Zenith’s in-house automatic tourbillon movement. Beating at 5 Hz (36,000 vibrations per hour), this calibre upholds Zenith’s legacy of high-frequency precision. The tourbillon cage completes a full rotation every 60 seconds.

The movement delivers a 50-hour power reserve and is visible through a sapphire display back, where a laser-engraved pattern radiates from the tourbillon, echoing the dial’s aesthetic. For the first time in the Skyline series, the openworked rotor is also crafted from rose gold, blending function and refinement.
Bracelet and Versatility
The Defy Skyline Tourbillon Rose Gold is fitted with an integrated H-link bracelet in matching 18k rose gold, equipped with a folding clasp for secure wear. Zenith also includes a brick-red rubber strap, easily interchangeable thanks to the quick-change system that allows tool-free swaps, offering versatility between formal and casual settings.
