A New Bronze Icon: Panerai Luminor Marina PAM01678
Panerai introduces the Luminor Marina Bronzo PAM01678, debuting its signature bronze alloy within the latest generation of the Luminor Marina. Drawing on the brand’s extensive expertise with bronze, this new model brings the material to the Luminor Marina line for the first time, combining its distinctive character with the collection’s updated architecture and advanced in-house technology.

A Bronze Case Built for Longevity
The PAM01678 features a 44 mm case crafted from Panerai’s proprietary bronze alloy based on copper and tin, engineered for durability and natural oxidation. Over time, the metal develops a protective patina, giving each piece a distinct appearance while preserving corrosion resistance—qualities aligned with the brand’s maritime heritage.

This new case design follows the Luminor Marina updates introduced earlier in 2025, including a slimmer profile of 13.70 mm and refined ergonomics. The trademark crown-protecting bridge remains central to the structure, ensuring robust sealing and contributing to the model’s 500m water resistance. The caseback is made of titanium and fitted with a sapphire crystal to showcase the movement.
A Blue Gradient Dial With Classic Luminor Identity
The watch is equipped with a matte blue gradient dial, transitioning from a darker outer tone to a lighter centre. Executed in Panerai’s familiar sandwich construction, the dial offers depth and clarity, with beige Super-LumiNova illuminating the cut-out numerals and hands for night-time legibility. A small seconds display at 9 o’clock completes the layout, and the absence of a date aperture keeps the display symmetrical and inspired by traditional Luminor design codes.

Powered by the Automatic Calibre P.980
Inside the case is the calibre P.980, an automatic movement with a three-day power reserve. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, the movement features a traversing balance bridge for added stability, stop-seconds for precise time setting, and regulation in six positions. Developed within the Richemont Group and tested in Neuchâtel, the calibre aligns with Panerai’s emphasis on durability and performance across its contemporary collections.
