Maurice Lacroix continues to expand its skeletonized offerings within the Aikon collection through a new collaboration with Geneva-based design studio Label Noir. The result is the Aikon Automatic Skeleton 45 mm Label Noir, a limited-edition model that combines a monochrome aesthetic with carefully placed color accents and a fully openworked dial.

Black DLC Case and Sporty Proportions

The watch is housed in a 45 mm stainless steel case treated with a black DLC coating, giving it a stealthy, contemporary appearance. The case measures 12 mm in thickness and features the Aikon collection’s signature claws bezel design. A screw-down crown ensures 100 meters of water resistance, reinforcing the watch’s sporty credentials.

Skeleton Dial With Turquoise Accents

Dominating the front is a sapphire crystal skeleton dial, treated with translucent black varnish around the periphery to create a subtle smoked effect. This visual gradient draws attention toward the center of the dial, where the movement’s architecture is fully exposed. Turquoise-colored accents, including the hands, minute flange, and the small seconds display at 6 o’clock, provide contrast and improve legibility against the darkened components.

In-House Caliber ML234

Powering the watch is the Maurice Lacroix Manufacture Caliber ML234, an automatic skeleton movement developed in-house. The movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, features 34 jewels, and delivers a power reserve of approximately 50 hours. Its openworked construction allows the mechanics to be viewed from both the dial side and through the sapphire exhibition caseback.

Strap Options and Wearing Versatility

The Aikon Automatic Skeleton Label Noir is supplied with two interchangeable straps, offering different visual personalities. A gray leather strap presents a more understated look, while a turquoise rubber strap emphasizes the watch’s contemporary and sporty character. Maurice Lacroix’s easy-change system allows the straps to be swapped without tools.

Limited Edition and Pricing

Limited to 100 individually numbered pieces, the Maurice Lacroix Aikon Automatic Skeleton 45 mm Label Noir highlights the brand’s ongoing focus on modern design and mechanical transparency. The watch is priced at CHF 6,900.
