A. Lange & Söhne Celebrates Craftsmanship At Germany’s Inaugural Concours Of Elegance
The first Concours of Elegance Germany took place on July 26-27, 2024, at the historic Gut Kaltenbrunn estate on Lake Tegernsee, gathering numerous automobile enthusiasts.
The event featured 50 of the world’s rarest and most valuable classic cars, along with 150 additional exhibits from specialist Concours and car clubs, all set against a picturesque Alpine backdrop.
Lange & Söhne presented its timepieces at the event, highlighting the technical excellence and elegant mechanics shared by both the cars and their watches.
The event’s highlight was the “Best of Show” award ceremony, where Peter Justenhoven of A. Lange & Söhne presented the award to the owner of a Lancia Astura Pinin Farina Cabriolet. Additionally, the “Thirty Under 30” category winner was honoured for her BMW Isetta.
Lange CEO Wilhelm Schmid emphasized the significance of contributing to this prestigious British event, now held in Germany, and the shared values of precision, craftsmanship, and timeless beauty that made the event a unique experience.
