A Decade Of Unimatic And 15 Years Of The Armoury Marked By The New Modello Cinque
To mark a shared anniversary year, Unimatic and The Armoury have reunited for a new limited edition — the Modello Cinque U5S-TA2 “10.15”. This collaboration celebrates 10 years of Unimatic and 15 years of The Armoury, uniting Italian minimalist design with the refined sensibility of one of the world’s most respected menswear retailers.

The Armoury and Mark Cho
Founded in 2010 by Mark Cho and Alan See, The Armoury has become a reference point in classic menswear, with boutiques in Hong Kong and New York. Beyond tailoring, the store has cultivated a deep appreciation for craftsmanship across disciplines — including watches. Mark Cho, an avid collector known for his thoughtful approach to horology, has built strong connections with independent watchmakers and collectors alike, making collaborations like this one a natural extension of The Armoury’s philosophy.

Compact Tool Watch with Character
The Modello Cinque is Unimatic’s smallest and most wearable tool watch, measuring 36 mm in diameter while maintaining the robust proportions that define the brand. The stainless steel case features a 300-meter water resistance, screw-down crown, and solid caseback, ensuring that compact does not mean delicate. Despite its size, the watch retains the strong wrist presence typical of Unimatic designs.

A Refined and Playful Aesthetic
The “10.15” edition introduces a distinctive red, white, and black color palette. The matte white dial is surrounded by a checkerboard minute track in red and white, adding a subtle sense of motion and visual texture. The inner hour ring, rendered in glossy black, contrasts sharply with the dial, while The Armoury’s logo appears in glossy red at six o’clock — a stylish touch that ties together the two brands’ identities.

The design strikes a balance between Unimatic’s minimalist tool-watch DNA and The Armoury’s polished elegance, resulting in a piece that feels both versatile and characterful.
Swiss Precision Inside
Powering the Modello Cinque “10.15” is the Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, offering a 41-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Known for its reliability, this movement has become a mainstay in modern independent watchmaking.
